Arctic Green Energy is proud to be a partner of the Arctic Circle Conference held in Reykjavik, between 13-15 October 2017. The Arctic Circle is an open assembly that takes place on a yearly basis in Reykjavik, Iceland.

The program is designed in collaboration with partnering organizations such as the United Nations institutions and the Polar Research Institute of China, along with private companies such as Arctic Green Energy. The Arctic Circle facilitates working meetings across issues and organizations and provides a forum for discussion for those interested in the future of the Arctic. The assembly is the largest annual international gathering on the Arctic, attended by more than 2000 participants from 50 countries.

Keynote speakers during this year´s event include:

  • H.E. Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson, Chairman Arctic Circle, former president of Iceland,
  • Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
  • Laurene Powell Jobs, Founder & President, Emerson Collective.

 

High-level offical delegations from China, Russian Federation, United Arab Emirates, USA and Japan will also attend the assembly. Arctic Green Energy is honored to host the Networking lunch on Saturday the 14th between 12:20 and 13:05 for conference participants.
